Apparently if you make the banner your approached by a group of men in black and asked if you want to join the Banner boy club.
The group meets in an ancient under ground temple some where in Greece where an initiation ceremony takes place.
Though the details are sketchy to say the least you swear alliance to the detector god and are told of the secret signal to let another member know you part of the in crowd.
Basically you pull a golden digging tool out and say "nice day for the time of year" the answer coming back should be "Yes but a little rough at sea"
The members meet once a year to spilt the best sites between them across the world. Word is that you can detect sites mere mortals can not like for instance the White house lawn etc etc.
How else can you explain the fact that an elite group keep hitting the banner over and over its either that or hardwork,dedication,research.
