One day, there was a frog that found himself a little short on cash. He went to the bank to see if he could get a loan. He walked up to the counter, and saw the tellers was a duck named Patty Wack.
"Good morning!" said the frog.
"Yes, how can I help you?" asked the teller.
"I'm a little short on cash, and I would like to apply for a loan." replied the frog.
"Well, do you have any sort of collateral?" the teller asked.
"What on earth is a collateral?" the frog asked.
"Collateral is something that you give the bank in exchange for your loan, so we know that you intend to pay it back with intrest." the teller answered.
"Oh, well the only thing that I have is this little trinket!" the frog exclaimed, as he pulled a small little statue out of his pocket.
"Hmm, I don't know if this will be enough..." the teller started to say.
"But you don't understand! Not only do I have that, my father is Mick Jagger! You know, the rock star?" the frog said, quickly.
"Well, let me go ask the bank manager what he thinks." the teller said, as she walked down the hall to his office.
"Sir?" said the teller to the manager.
"Yes, what is it, Patty Wack?" said the manager.
"Well sir, there is a frog out here that needs a loan. He says he is Mick Jagger's son, but all he has is this." said the teller, as she handed him the statue.
"Patty Wack, do you know what this is?!" the teller said excitedly.
"No sir, what is it?" she said.
"It's a knic-nac, Patty Wack! Give the frog a loan! His old man's a Rolling Stone!"
Isn't it nice to know where that started at??
