Hello all hope you're out swinging in this pouring rain yesterday I know we were, the bramble boys got out yesterday for Group hunt
We hit Reale road where I found two reals over the past few weeks p so far we pulled out a bunch of coppers A few not one cent tokens and what seems to be a possible soldiers campsite we found a dozen musketballs six or seven buttons and a bunch of cool old relics scrappy found the soldiers camp and rounded up all the balls Bartek pulled a couple of nice keeper buttons and a few coins I pulled a couple of buttonsA couple relics some buckles another toasted large cent
All in all we had a great day in the woods the Bramble was tough but We hunt where the people were ! Thanks to scrappy and Bartek for joining me on the hunt
Thanks for reading hh gl.

The bottom pic sort of looks like the Pep boys, Manny, Moe, & Jack. You guys are a threat, nothing is safe when Ya'll hit a site. It's nice to see you guys concentrate so much on the older finds that you forgot to mention the Barber quarter. Sure wish I was there enjoying the rain with the B.O.B.s.

Is that a buggy brake in the top pic?

Yes , I did forget the barber " who the hell put that there !" And yes a buggy break.
Thanks for looking loco. , your always welcome here I've got room for you and Kevin's brother in-law

You got all sorts of good stuff there. Congrats on getting out, despite the rain.

Best of luck to you and the BOBs!

Ha HA! What a morning! I'm sure we would have found more if we headed South on Reale Rd. What a beating we took. It took me all afternoon to warm back up! Bart's token looks pretty corroded, which may go with your theory about that site having been a certain type of farm field. We'll figure it out eventually. Nice finds fellas. Kevin's Brother-in-law really would have enjoyed this hunt

Hey, Rambo does his best work in the rain! Way to go guys!

Nice hunt guys. I bet y'all are all scratched up from the briars and bramble. Good job Steve on sniffing out the round balls and the hat plume. Mine was identified as being from an Artillery Shako Hat plume by someone who had dug a number of them at some coastal fort down south. Your leaf pattern is a little different than mine, but I don't know whether the leaf patterns had any significance.

Nice lot of interesting finds EChunter. You guys are a hardy bunch to do some mud digging in the briars. Just wondering what that standing up tube item is next to the buckles in the 2nd picture down on the left. Seems to me I have found one of those but didn't know what it was.

That's a wagon brake. They often wore down to where the keeper screw was located, sheered the screw head off, and it would fall. I think this is my 5th or 6th one.

Well done guys,, my goodness, there was no mention of the 1878 Indian Head Penny.
Nice looking assortment,, l hope that the return trip affords you of some nicer weather.
That way you can properly strip that camp of what is hiding.
Congrats to all of you

Thanks Scrappy- I'll dig mine out of my UFO box and display it.

Awesome bunch of relics! Congrats!
You guys do the mud stomp real well!

Oh, loookie there! I didn't even look up the date! Worth maybe a few bucks. Cool. I believe Charlie is continuing scout work being as he has a lot more time than me and Bart. We're very close though to the camp. Skirting the edges I think...

very nice finds
