Artscape is on now in Baltimore. 350,000+ people over 3 days. The experiment? Leaving the detector at home and eyeballing for lost stuff, and observing the flow of the crowds so as to come back with a detector later. I'll probably get sidetracked eyeballing some of the art students, their moms, and just about every female under 60 y.o. whose clothing is sticking to their sweaty selves. I do not to expect to break even - and Artscape is free! However the food is not. I tried to find a way to describe the variety of foods available, but I'm at a loss for words. "Cheap" is not one of them.
So, lets look at this figure 350,000.
If only one person in 100 loses $0.25, that's $875. I figure there could be a variety of interesting things to find.
I'll post my finds (if any) in the Today's Finds board. If you have any advice I'll be checking in Saturday afternoon before I leave.
