Looked down-Well hello there buddy.
Rode around for 10 minutes on my leg, then crawled up onto my shoulder for another 30 minutes. 🤣

I stopped at the milk weed location.
He crawled down my arm, went onto the plant.
The crawled back onto my hand, I tried repeatedly to get it to stay, then it did.

I was trying to coax one into his defensive stance for a picture, pointing the tip of my finger at it. It sure enough displayed the image I wanted, but before I could get my finger away it struck with that little barb and penetrated the tip of my finger well enough that I had to shake it off my finger. It gave me a good sting also. I should start seeing them here soon around my place. They are a sign that the nights will start getting cooler and we're on the downhill side of summer.
