At the time they said it was the war to end all wars. Only twenty years later, they were at it again. When I was a kid I heard lots of WW1 stories from my Great-uncle. He was in the trenches.

My family tree didn't have anyone that served in the great wars. Though my parents did work for the war effort for 5 yrs-father in the ship yards as a welder-mother at Boeing doing wiring harnesses.
