Over clad "factories". Places built over farms always
give me a sense of possibility. I know the chance is
always present to find something very old!

And...there are always surprises, like this:

I *STILL* think there ought to be a law!!
:BangHead:

But then.....along comes that special find that
just makes one's day........ :)

All in all...not too bad a day.

Sooooo....what do you see?
If I'm right, this might be my oldest large cent found.

Thanks for peeking!

Looks like a braided hair large cent 1839-1857 to me. Way to go, nice find!

Congratulations on an awesome find!

Congratualtions on the old copper! :occasion14:

you just keep finding the awesome stuff, congrats. now go find something else that will put a huge smile on your face...and ours

Congrats on your oldest Large Cent.

Thanks! But, now that I can see it better, I do believe I have a couple older ones. Still, always a pleasure to find!

Get signal, "Ah, probably a deep clad quarter." Then, you flip the plug and say, "Oh oh oh! *That's* no green quarter!" LOL

Sweet LC, now thats a good day!

As for the heart stopper, i have a matching one...from the heights into the depths, in a single swoop. At lest Blingie seems happy with it.

Congrats on the oldest LC.
Nicely done sir, nicely done!
