Yesterday I had( finally) the chance to go out for a quick hunt. I chose a place not too far and decided to reduce the weight of my backpack. Half of water, pinpointed, X35 coil and the spade.
-1°C on a sunny day is the best for hunting.
I have been hunting with the X35 for about five times and I have found only a few coins. Probably, it's because of the settings. Sens 97, freq 4kgz, react 0, audio 4, discr 0. Maybe I have collected all the coins and the deeper one can not be found because of their measures and the new settings! Yesterday I found only one coin and it would be rediculous if I would't dig three deeeep targets. They were only whispering but as soon as I removed a little bit of soil they sounded perfect targets. In this area I used to find at least 20 coins in a day.
Probably they are from the 6th-7th A.D. Not to old but I love the design and the details. One thing that I'm not sure is if they were used by men or by women.
It was just a quick hunt but it was worth it.
