That's the Silver I Was Looking For

Hey all,

Things have been slowing down lately so I figured it was time for a new batch of postcards and permissions around my neighborhood.

Recently it's seemed like I go a few hunts in a row with no silver and then find a few all at once. That was definitely the case today.

Yesterday I got out and hit the sidewalk strips outside an old apartment building that was a general store in the early 1900s. Didn't have too much luck but I did nab a couple wheats.



I also got a few permissions yesterday. I did the sidewalk strips outside the first today, a 1920s house, and did well.



The tally:
-2 Rosies (51S, 53S)
-1 Merc (16)
-3 Wheats (all 40s)
-1 Tax Token

Man when I found that 16 Merc that had my heart pumping. It's so worn I can't make out a mint mark. I'll take another close look tonight.

I've got a couple spots I'm excited about for tomorrow morning, hopefully more to report then.

Nice triple silver and a very satisfying hunt! It's a nice weekend, so go get some more! I'm going to pop down to the water at low tide and try to nab my first saltwater silver today. I know they're there, just gotta get my coil over them.
