The hunt in the park yesterday reminded me of how much I like detecting where there's no grass, so I headed out to the old gravel parking lot where I've done very well in the past. It certainly didn't disappoint!
Besides the silvers I got five thrashed wheat cents and a mountain of beaver tails (gotta dig those even here because I did find a gold ring here last year).

They're a little beat up from life in the gravel, except for the 1948, which was in a little sandy spot just a little ways outside of the lot area.
Feels nice to have a little success after a string of so-so outings.

Getting a six pack of silvers from the gravel lot is a great day. 👍 Congratulations

That's more than a little success, if you ask me. Very nice!

You did great - a big congrats on finding all those Silver Coins ! :hello2:

Gravel Driveways & Parking Lots often get overlooked.
I've done very well hunting them over the years.
I always carry two different sized Screwdrivers in my Detecting box to help get the stones out.

Six silvers in one hunt is awesome!!

That’s more than I find in a year (or 3). Congrats.

Great results!

That's a great, great day oldmxrat! Six silver hunts are painfully rare these days. Well done.

oh boy, love that old silver, great job and that looks like a lot of fun

Nice pay off on that lot! Good job!
Thanks Scruggs! That lot has been unbelievable. I wish I could find another spot like that. In the three years since I discovered it I've found over 150 silvers there!

Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!

Nice Job! I have been at this hobby off and on for over a decade and have never found a single silver dime, much less a Mercury, which remains my favorite coin.

You should get together with #Cudamark. He's a really nice guy and knows where to find the goods in your area.
