That 9" x 12" Coil Is Just Moving Right Along.......

Quick hunt after work today before I had to sort out some winner's for a contest tonite. There sure is a lot to like about this coil. It pinpoints beautifully off the front inner toe, it is so large that it's excellent for hunting large areas quickly and it sounds off those beautiful audio tonnes to help separate the junk from the good stuff.

John, I was on the fence between the lil one and the 9 x 12, you just pushed me off the fence and I fell on the 9 x 12 side.

Good luck! If you like searching for rings and coins in large areas....that's probably the "BEST" :icon_sunny:

how much deeper can you detect with the 9x12 than the 6.5x9? is it worth the hundred or so dollars to upgrade from the stock coil? btw im on $7 an hour 10-15 hours a week.(im 15 :laughing7: ) so thats kinda alot of money for me... :dontknow: ???

Does it pinpoint better than the stock DD coil ? I use the pullback method, and with my Ace 250 when the toe passes over the target the audio cuts out completely. With my AT pro the audio drops off slightly, but doesn't cut out. Every now and then it cuts out completely, but most times the audio just changes slightly. I have the stock DD coil on my AT pro.
