Thank you guys I had a lot of fun finding those coins. I'm not upset with the new detector, just am having a little bit more trouble learning the machine. I'm not use to the numbers on it the 350 didn't have that, but I absolutely love the 400 and am definitely going back to that beach to find more. Hopefully I can get a Indian head don't have none yet would like to get my first. A ring or two would be nice too. Ha- ha!!!

You could have posted this on the original post, it keeps the site tidy to have all comments about a thread on the thread.
Don't be afraid of the numbers, I mainly listen to the tones and then will look at the VDI to see what the readings are and how much the numbers vary. Just know that deeper targets will ring in with a lower VDI than normal and maybe even a lower tone than shallower ones.
