Alright boys, I'm going in to the yard for the first time in three months.

My wife is tired of me " making love to my junk "

This will be the first time I've ever taken anything other than cans. My estimate is...... a couple hundred, and only eighty five of that will be from beverage containers, so anything over the can cash will have come from what information you folks have generously shared.

Will be posting the results of my haul asap.

And you are going to share this with us and your wife....Hold your ground at 85 for cans. When you get some serious money over the cans then blow it on your wife making her a queen. Then she may help you to get more perks.
Always hug the cook.Otherwise she may spit in your eggs and tell you about it after you have eaten breakfast.

Ok, I dont have my receipt for an accurate breakdown so keep in mind the weights are only ballpark numbers.
The grand total is accurate

154 ish lb. aluminum cans @ .82 per pound $124
around 46 lb #2 copper @ 2.75 per pound somewhere around $124... I think
about 31 lb #1 copper @ 2.95 per pound $85
12 lb unstripped @ .50 per pound $6
15 lb electric motor @ .20 per pound $3
less then a pound aluminum @ .40 per pound not much

Dont think I left anything off the list so my weights must be incorrect somewhere because I do remember the total was $363 and something cents! My best haul to date. I was happy and I'm gonna make sure my eggs stay clean. Thanks for the advice truckin
