I want to thank all that replied to my request for GPAA member comments. I joined the GPAA and received my kit on Friday. Went back to a place where my wife and I went in Alabama 2 weeks previous and had a great time knowing more about what I was doing. We tried highbanking this trip. (Previous was running a sluice.) I found out from a fellow GPAA member that I was using the sluice box inefficiently (after the fact). Understanably we left empty handed. Using the highbanker, we managed to get some color after a few hours of work.
As a new member, it feels great to know how much work has been done by hard working members to get the information together for their kits, hunt and shows. I plan on utilizing their mining Guide to its fullest extent as well as the information of everyone that feels like sharing.
So thanks to all who are members and those who are not who took the time to communicate their thoughts and feeling. All are equally appreciated.
