Thank you everybody for your posts and maybe unknown help with my love for detecting. After reading all your posts I have learned so much more. I've only been detecting for approximately 3 years but I do love the new surprises almost everytime, although I have been nearly skunked a few times (take the good with the bad, ya know). Anyway, thanks again......... Here's a couple of finds from an old ball field thanks to you all. The first is an Israel coin and the next a religious medalion. Keep on detecting.........gregd573

Thank you all......what a great group of folks. At this tme Snee, I have found the Israel coin on a web page. It was minted in 1981 thru 1985 if i remember right.....I did not find a value on it.....who knows it might just be an Israel nickel.....its all good with me. Thanks for all the replies, this really a great site.

Welcome to the forum.? It sure is inspirational to read what everybody is finding, isn't it?? ?I never thought that I would detect in winter, but after seeing what weather some of these crazies are detecting in....I'm out there, too.? Winter detecting isn't so bad.
