Thank YOU ML got me a killer kicking butt excal 2

I got the new 4th excal 2, she works like a dream machine.. even had Brian test her out since I was kinda paranoid..I just wanted his opinion once again..and lordy lordy she PASSED, works like a charm, works great in all metal mode, after meeting up with brian today and he tested her and she passed, I was on my way home since I have bronchitis, it had started to drizzle, but once I got in my truck, heading down the road, the sun shined thru and I said ahhh heck go for it..so I turned down the first street, went out for about a hr.. and I hit a weird ring, marked but cannot read it.. and a cool looking pocket knife.. I was practicing in all metal mode and she did great, some clad too.

Thank you ML, Gary, Ewout, Mike ( 4-h) Brian aka surfdigger and all that were involved in helping me get this resolved and get a good working Excal.. I am thrilled..

Glad to hear that. I think Minelab is starting the upward swing now that they have "settled in". My replacement Excal II is on its way now. I talked to service and asked them to test it before shipping. They had no problem with that. Wish I lived closer to the beach. Keep us posted. Joel

Rae, I am very glad that Minelab finally came through with a Excal II that worked correctly. Now you can concentrate on finding the real stuff. Hope your bronchitis gets better soon.
