I haven't hit a coin digging in a long time but man i did it to this one. It was about 4 inches deep I was going to fast not taking time to double check the pin point and that's what I get. I'm just happy it wasn't a seated or bust and was a Washington. The house was a 1820's house and I only had a few min. so the chance of it being a great coin was high.

My nickname ' ClodChopper' came from my first days of detecting. I cut my teeth on frozen dirt. Big frozen chuncks that needed to be chopped into 'lil bits.

I want to change my name to 'CladDigger'. If it was coined after 1966....I can find it! I have not dug silver in 3 months. I only have 1 wheatie all year.

Perhaps it's because of where I live, but i have dug MORE live ammo than silver.
