dwight, check the references at the bottom of the page there may be something there that may help. As for the turtle rock, the only one i know about is of rock carvings some where in the painted desert. it a tourist attraction.

spider rock

Have you contacted the professor in Cisco? I talked to him a few years back in regards to the diggings some Spider Rock hunters had done on my uncle's property south of Clyde.

Here's a rock that sits in a central Texas museum - with a sign "if you know what it is, let us know!".

as far as I know, no one's labeled it "a spider rock"....

I think it probably is one...

anyone know?
