Found while searching out garage sales Saturday passed by a house I had bought some good stuff from a year a go. Saw the garage door was opened so I stopped. And asked if they had dug out anything else to sell. Well he brought out a military bolo knife made by Plumb dated 1917 with the ordnance bomb. Also the web belt , looks like the numbers on the inside are dated 1900. I know the sheath isn't correct as it has been personalized. But still cool. And the grips are now made from aluminum as the wood grips might have been broken. This is a neat old knife.

COOL FIND. Do you mind sharing what you paid for it?

Well bought a couple of pistols that I may have paid top dollar on but I knew that paying $25.00 for the knife was a good deal.

Its always a good deal when both you and the seller walked away happy...

Nice finds. It looks like the pouch on the belt is an m1924 medical pouch, WW2 era. Some people refer to them as a Carlisle pouch because they manufactured the first aid packets that went inside the pouch.

Yep! I agree, good find and good price. Probably can't go wrong on the pistols either.
