Texas Lakes -

What part of Texas are you at? It's a big state. I heard of a story where some slot machines where dumped in an East Texas lake. Don't recall which one or what the current status is though. ???

I'm in north central Texas, and know of a few other lakes with townships in them. Most of my diving buddies here aren't into underwater MDing, so finding a dive buddy to go with is difficult. I'd meet you somewhere and check some of these areas out just for the thrill, if we find something, even better. I have an underwater MD good to 130 feet, and I'm not afraid to use it :D

BTW: I'm Rescue Diver certified, working on DiveMaster with over 80 dives, my own equipment, etc. Seriously, if you want to go, let's discuss!

I understand from some of my old Texas dive buddies that there is at least one old town under water at Lake Travis outside of Austin. I dove that lake and Canyon Lake many times over the years that I lived in Austin. However, I never personally dove any of the old towns or home sites that are underwater.
