What equipment do you have. Just a pan or something that moves more dirt? Google the llano area it's not to awful far from you. Here is some Texas shine I got but will not give up the location.

I just have my pan, but that looks like a good place to look I appreciate it a ton!

Llano is your best bet then. I run a 4" dredge and it takes a lot of dirt to get any amount of gold anywhere else. I have seen some nice pickets come out of llano research longs fish camp it is a pay to play place. Pay attention where your at a lot of private land on the Llano with state mining leases and they are not friendly to trespassing.
