Im very new to this. Just got an ace 250 and learning new things everyday. Im looking for information or leads for the following Tx counties: Montgomery, Harris and Polk. Any help or advice for this excited newcomer would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Lupe44,? during the mid 1970's, most of the counties in Texas published a book about the history of their county.? You can probably go to your local library and see if they have ones for the counties that you are interested in.? You can also go to eBay, search under "Texas History"....there are many Texas county history books listed most of the time.? Please have a great day!? Kelley (Texas)

thats cool i graduated from conroe high school in 1982!! I live in spring now but travel all over but still take time out to detecting. Montgomery county library has alot of information, look for for a magazine called Treasure Trove. it has alot of info, Polk county has alot of history behind it, I am going up there on a private hunt as soon as the weather is better, care to go
? I will let you know when. have property there in several areas that had once been booming towns, never been hunted. How do you like that ACE 250?

I graduated in 1999 from Conroe high. I had family in Polk county and visited there often, growing up. I'm very interested in hunting that area. Let me know when you plan on going. Ace 250 has been very easy to learn and use. I like the lcd screen, helps a lot. If you need some one to partner up w/ let me know.

I live in North Texas, Sherman. Anybody been up here detecting. Tracking says I am scheduled to get dilivery on my Ace 250 today. Damn its almost 4pm im barely gonna have time to get to do some detectiing
