Ok, so here are some other bits and pieces from this New Years hunt....first pic is what appears to be a broken stem off of a clay pipe...this is broken off just in front of where the bowel would be...next is a piece to a decorative buckle or frame...the next piece I believe is a wick adjuster off of an old oil lamp...around the knob it reads: Benedict & Burnham MFG CO...any ideas as to an age on this? Next two pieces look like they are from a gun and or rifle, but I am not sure...one looks like a trigger piece with a small spring on it, and the other looks like a hammer piece off of an old flintlock rifle...any ideas? And last, is a pic of a two piece button...no makers mark on back, but a cool design on front...any idea on this?
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

That B & B oil lamp wick adjustor could be as old as 1860's. Can't find out for sure how long they lasted in business, though they started around 1860 from what I can tell.

Nice bunch of finds!

Those are some reall nice finds! That hammer is definitely from an old musket or pistol. You can tell by the design that it was meant for poppin percussion caps. Also, TOO bad that that button came apart, no telling what kind it may have been. Those are really Cool! Congrats on the nice hammer!!!!!!! ;)
