Made a trip to Calvert met up with Texan Connection, and Thrillahunt. We may a day of it. Didn't find a lot, but had a great time. Met two very nice people, and made some good friends. Didn't find a lot, but I really enjoyed the day. Got one 1917 Wheatie, and an old cap gun that had seen its better days. Come up with an old buckle, some buttons, and a couple of leads. Hope to be able to make another hunt with them one day. My thank to TC for a good day.

WTG guys, sounded like a real good day. :hello2:
BTW Calvert is a mean speed trap on Fri and Sat. nights. Be very careful on Hwy.6 Lots of nice antique spots though.

I sure keep an eye out for them when going through there. I love that little town though.

I myself had the privilege to join TC on a few hunts.
Knowledgeable, and willing to help a new guy at the hobby like me.

Yes it is priceless. This day was one to remember...

Thanks for the Honor of showing me your TEXAS Buttons and coming over Boyce. I still cant belive we dident find a silver or 2 on that hill (Old Glass was everywhere).

Im not done with it yet, might hit it next week a bit.

I did Find the Cemetary this week, it was down the hill where we thought the Old school is still intact also, and is the Branchville community center now.. That was def the church and homestead sights we were on.
The road dividing them was gone, and I guess thats what threw me off at first.

Boyce,

It was good to meet you. We did have fun didn't we? Time went by way too fast and there was a lot of ground to cover there. We really only put a dent in it. I hope we all can get together again soon.

TC I'm glad you were able to find that cemetery. At least we gave our best shot. I would love to get together again one day, and make another hunt. It was a pleasure to met the both of you.
