Did some Google Earth recon, and found a small patch o old ground next to a building downtown. I checked to see if there were any old air shots of the area and came up with one from the 1960s that showed a ballfield and playground where the building stands now. I loaded up the prototype and headed out. The prize of the day was the 1943 War Nickel, and the 1937 Wheatie. I was not getting enough depth with the proto coil, which is descrbed as a 12" DD, but in fact is a 10" (?). I KNOW there is silver just a hair deeper. I go back with the 5.4kHz Minelab Voyager, then try the Nokta FindX Pro 15kHz, and see if they can scare up some silver!
