Hey all, these are the finds from the past two days where myself and UMRGolf2000 went out and spent a few hours
digging two seperate spots of mine in two different places on 2 consequtive days. One was a virgin spot that was a
small 2 day camp and the other a larger site that has been hit in the past. We came up with some interesting finds
including these below; Jeff's finds are on the left and mine are on the right:
*FIRST and foremost this AWESOME small cuff-sized 2 piece, ironback button with a big STAR on it
*A VERY worn...prob my worst yet; General Service Eagle Button
*Button with writing: Pat'd Mar 10 1868
*Very Early Colonial Pewter button with a floral design around the rim
* Early button "Plated" on back
*Silver Gilted KEPI button--the best gilted I've ever dug
*J.B. Humphreys and Sons Coin Silver spoon handle
*Artillery Sword Bayonet Scabbard Tip
*Heart shaped piece of jewelry
*Folded up saddle piece; looks like it says "colt" on it and a place to hang a gun
*Remains of a Brass number "1"
*Rivets, camp lead, jewelry, etc.
