Technology is ever changing and presents challenges to even the most proficient users.

Clovis, you are in no way dumb!
You are teaching yourself, most ppl can't learn when they are shown something, with someone holding their hand and doing the task for them.
Many can't even learn how to learn. That's when you know you're in trouble. (I can teach myself anything, just like you, I just get tired of learning technology, that tomorrow, will be outdated and something new replace it).
Sometimes, the old way of doing things, works better than the new fangled way.
I've YET to be able to get my computer to wash dishes and vacuum!

Don't worry Clovis, I just figured out recently that I don't have to save images found on web pages to my pc before I can post them on here. I can just copy and paste them at will. Duh. No, no one has ever shown me a thing on how to use a computer either. Tech savvy... not me!

I keep thinking of the tv commercial years ago....... (can't find it on youtube, ugh)
The H.R. lady us teaching a new hire how to use the copy machine. With a bewildered look on his face, she looks up from the copier and says,
"Oh yeah, you're a college graduate. Don't worry, I'll do the copying for you".

Wasn't effective advertising in that, I can remember the commercial, but have no clue who the company was they were advertising.
