Hi folks I hope I am not out of line for making this post for someone else, if so please delete. I recently sold a nice Tesoro Silver Sabre µMax that was professionally modded with an adjustable ground balance. The guy that bought it from me (Frank from Minnesota)thought that metal detecting would be a hobby that he liked but it isn't. Here is some notes from the email he sent me -
Hi Steve, how is the Cibola? I was wondering if you could do me a favor and email the other guy who was interested in the sabre and let him know that I am new to the hobby and its not was I was hoping it was gonna be and will be selling it. I thought it would look better if you emailed him then me. He would have no idea who I am and how I got his email. Please pass my email address along to him and explain why i am getting rid of it, the unit is fine. It's my first detector and detecting isn't what I thought it would be like.
I had a few people interested in it and one guy in particular said he would buy it if I could wait for him to get all the $$$ together for it but I had another detector that I wanted to buy and couldn't wait. Anyways Frank would like $245.00 shipped for it. I bought the detector from Jay Evans and it is a fine little machine. You can check through the forum and find pictures of it.
