Found a Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax at an indoor/year round flea market, marked $55.00, got the guy to take $40. Testing it for last two days over same ground I have been going over all summer with my Bounty Hunter Quick Silver. Other than 21 cents in clad and 3 copper items, I got this 4lb chunk of metal at 6 inches. I had the setting at 4 for both sensitivity and disc level. Just learning this machine is FUN!

I too am using a BH Quicksilver. Did you have iron discriminated out when you went over this? Even with iron disc'd out my quicksilver would have been screaming high tones from all of the rust...it tricks me a lot. The other day I had clean repeatable high tones in all directions....ancient rusty horseshoe at 12-13". Let us know how that new machine works out!!!

Also that looks like a wedge used for splitting firewood, it's hard to tell from the photos though.
