Tesoro Sand Shark

I recently purchased a tesoro sand shark and I was wondering if anybody can help me with the settings. I will be hunting the florida beaches mainly. Any help will be awesome. Thanks

My Whites Surfmaster is basically turn two knobs to preset mark and go.
PI detectors are basically simple to operate. You just turn them on and there might be a pulse delay. Set this low to start.
I would place an object on the ground and just 'play with' the controls to see the result. There is no ground balance or discrimination in the true sense.

Congratz on the Sand Shark! It is on my short list of detectors to buy. Happy Hunting!!!!

 

[Metal Detecting Stuff]

Set your threshold to just above audible. Adjust your volume. Set to VCO. Set pulse width to center position. Throw a couple of coins on the sand and swing the coil over it. If it squeals over the targets, you should be good to go. With a pulse detector, you have to dig everything.
