Detector(s) used
I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, Vaquero, White’s TRX
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
This detector is like new. It has a few very light scratches on the coil, but I have a coil cover that I will try and find and include. Very clean and works like a dream. I bought it used over a year ago and I have used it very little. I suspect it is one of the newer models. I will sell it for $110 shipped within the continental US. Paypal friends or please cover the 3%, or $90 if the buyer pays shipping. It will go out with tracking.

I am going to drop the price to either $90 buyer pays shipping or $110 I pay. I will also take a money order for this.

Bump for a great little detector at a great price.

My own reason for getting one (or telling my wife to get me one for Christmas, lol) was based largely on positive comments I saw about the Compadre in this forum. It's my first MD, and I'm glad it is. It's lived up to all the expectations I had built up after reading all about it here.

I'm sure everyone here is familiar with the specs of the Compadre. I just thought I'd add my real world positive experience here. If you're looking for a backup, or maybe a gift for someone just getting into the hobby, this machine is an excellent choice. It was for me.

edit: Hey Pointman - did you shorten that shaft? Looking at the pic it sure looks shorter than mine, with a much looser wrapped coil wire. Did you set this up for a kid?

Nothing is modified on this detector. I only pulled the shaft in all the way. Thanks for the information and the bump!

Great "backseat" machine... I have one that travels in the gunrack of the old pick up truck, great reliable machine, super durable. Perfect to always have a detector on hand... Never know when you will drive by that next sidewalk tear out ;)
I'm sure this will go quick!

I know I never have one when I see these then I cannot remember where I saw it!
