I'm sitting around bored to death because of not being able to go detecting because of all the rain, so I thought I'd do some trading to keep myself entertained. This search coil is harder to find than hens' teeth. This is my second 4-pin Cleansweep, I sold the first one because the city where I live banned digging in the parks and sports fields. That's a crying shame because I was finding lots of gold and silver rings. I bought the second one because I got it for a good price and I forgot why I sold the first one.

I've never done any gold nugget detecting because there are NO gold nuggets around where I live. Rusty Henry told me that he uses a Cleansweep on a Lobo Super Traq to search for gold nuggets. He says he can cover a lot of ground fast with that setup. Everyone knows that Rusty knows how to find gold. I read where one guy using the Cleansweep at the beach to search for jewelry. It makes sense because he can cover a lot of beach area fast and recently dropped jewelry isn't all that deep. I don't live near the beach, so I can't use it for that.

I fully tested it and it works great! I'm not sure what I want to trade for. Maybe a detector or a golden retriever. I like Tesoro detectors, I like Omega version 4 or 5 detectors, and I've been wanting to buy a used Deeptech Vista X. The Cleansweep could go for a partial trade plus some cash. Send me a PM on what you would like to trade.

Don’t know how you did it but I’m the guy who was supposed to be buying that coil from the guy in Texas. Was pretty darn disappointed that both you guys did me wrong. Good riddens.

It's really simple, he posted a search coil for sale, I respond to the post that "I'll take it". We exchanged payment and mailing information by PM. It doesn't get any simpler than that. I don't even know who you are.

A person can sell their property to whomever they want, whenever they want and for whatever price that they agree to.

Get over it GHK. Unless you had a verbal or written enforceable contract with “the guy in texas” you are out of luck and other than disappointment, you have nothing.

OK here’s my problem. I had made arrangements to buy the coil to USE it. Got thrown under the bus but admittedly maybe to no fault of beephead. I’m sorry for that misunderstanding. But I was as I said planning to USE the coil. Then I see within a short period of time it’s offered in trade to profit from a great deal that I got screwed out of. Now if I was a vindictive guy I’d post the price that was paid.

Good Lord, this search coil is more popular and in-demand than toilet paper. I'm beginning to think that I should hold on to this one. My first 4-pin CleanSweep search coil I paid dearly for, so when I saw this one at a GREAT price, I didn't hesitate even for a second, I posted as fast as I could type, "I'll TAKE IT! If I decide to sell it, trade it or keep and use it, that's my business and no one else's. There are a few sports fields in some nearby towns, so maybe I should go find a few gold rings with it before letting it go. That sounds like a great plan to me. lol
