I live in SE Tennessee on the TN river at the southern part of the Sequatchie Valley. The Cherokee Indians were all over this area but I don't think this arrowhead is Cherokee. Could someone tell me what time period it is from. As well as ID on the other artifacts. Thanks! image.jpg

It is rough but I love that color. I can't help you with period or nation but I like them. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the QUICK response! Probably the fastest reply I've had on TN... I love the color too especially the little red part on both sides... When you say rough do you mean the maker was not very skilled or rough as in it being old?

Any idea what type of material this(scraper?)is??

He means rough by not being able to tell what it is. Its a finder find point that anybody would be happy to see laying but as far as the point itself it is hard to see the workmanship on it as flaking and shape to be able to say for sure what it is. Glad you are finding some artifacts now, rock

Different colors can come from different places since the Indians did a lot of trading. I've never seen that green color or the blue myself, but then, I'm in Ms. A friend has a couple pc's from Fla. that he found here.

Ok I see, thanks rock. This forum has been a huge help.

Would it help if I took more detailed pics? Anything specific I should take a picture of? Im not trying to be "that guy" flooding the thread with pictures lol

The one point looks Beveled and most likely is 7 or 8 thousand years old older than historic tribes. The others are scrapers and could be any age.

I'd say you are in a good spot…that point looks like it has been around along time, like long before the Cherokee…I find lots of stuff of similar shape and size that is obviously a point but well-worn…hard to tell, but it could be Brewerton or Big Sandy style.
