Denver. Tenacious Treasure Tracker is a clue hunt put on by Brian Henry of Creative Awards. His website lists clues and the latest hunt (#4) started Oct 1. I finally had time today to really solve the first set of clues and headed out to Sherwood Hills Park in Thornton Colorado. Without the next clue, the whole park needed to be searched. I tried to think of how the landmarks could play into the coming clues, with the next clue due out today, I checked my phone a couple of times, no new clue, so kept hunting. I finally triangulated a light pole with two trees and right in the center about 5 inches down I found the T T T token! It read 75 vdi on my White's MXT.
Brian's TtenaciousTreasureTracker.com site states the finder of the token gets a T-Shirt from the website with a TTT logo/winner added, a nice trophy, and $100 in cash! I beat out a few of my local detectorists and have a extra $100! Fun hunt and nice fall day too! Thanks Brain.
Cindy

Congratz!!! That is awesome!

That's really cool

How about that... 100 USD cash works 8-)
I have an English bulldog that is tenacious .
He never stops until completion whatever he sets out to do .
Chewing up the kids shoes is his thing :icon_scratch: .

dawg

Cash in hand, new T-Shirt and Nice Trophy. Wore the shirt to a club hunt today to quietly state I got the token first. :happy11:

That's not your first find buried by him that you've dug, is it?
So did you politely stand up and announce to everyone to accept fate and give up hope for recovering the item,
while waving Old Ben in the air?
And sipping a shot from the trophy cup?
Do it next time.
Make them fear you.
Kudos!
Carl

Kudos!

Hunt #5 started March 1, got the location (park) figured out, tried to find it once already, but the park is so large, waiting on next clue to come out tomorrow. But meanwhile, Denver Spring Blizzard 2016 hit today and blew in 16 inches of snow, so that will take a bit to melt away....

Very nice. That sounds like a fun thing to do. Congrats on your finding it.
