Took 12,500 dimes to WF for to get my cash back.
I watch the tellers and sometimes when they are at the coin counter machine in the back, their faces betray what is behind the smile at the front desk.

This one didn't look ecstatic about the job. When she comes back with the tally, I thank her for her work and she says:

"Wow, ha ha, you have been returning so much coin that you will probably just be getting your own coins back" ha ha.

I reply (to be sociable) "could be that I am already".

She, "ha, you think you are? You probably are. You know there is a coin deposit center up the valley, and all the carriers go to that one."

Me: "Well, I buy from several banks, so...."

She: (breaking in)"..it doesn't matter! All their coins go to the same place and they all come back."

Me: "Well, have a good day"

Too bad, I'm doomed. All the coins go to some dump and come right back.
I think I'll give up this useless hobby just as soon as I've exhausted every silver dime and half dollar in my center's money dump!!

That would be quite an accomplishment, don't you think, if I could single-handedly vacuum an entire STATE'S money supply?

Yup, I'll quit as soon as I've got that done.

(I did NOT tell her that I have a couple banks that make WF's silver look like small beans.)

Its odd but i dump at all the machines in my area and i noticed how some are friendly some are neutral and some are hostile.

The friendly ones get donuts occasionally.

I spread out the dumps and stay away for about a month if there is a problem with a machine.
