Home made cookie deliveries and socializing with the tellers pays dividends.......had a call from a small branch teller saying she had a regular customer dump $60+ in pennies. When I got there, she dug them out and allowed me to cherry pick the rolls..........all were marked with dates or date ranges.

I bought $26 and found 2 decent 1986D's that have been elusive for me, 10 "S" mints, many BU coppers, several 1982D large and small date Zincolns, 12 Canadian George's and.........2 solid rolls of Wheats. They ranged from 1934 to 1958 with a "D" for each year from '41 to '58 (excluding '43.....no steels in the batch). And, just for those interested..........not one 2009 in the batch.

I also purchase 2 rolls of nickels and found 4 '38's several '40's and '50's...........no War nickels or '50D's, but still a nice haul.

Sorry, no pics........my phone doesn't take good enough pics to post.

It pays to be nice - thanks for sharing...

Who baked the cookies??

Nice work.

My wife is a great cook and graciously baked batches for the banks that have been helpful in my searches..............it's also great to know that by doing the baking, she is endorsing my hobby............she's pretty good at finding Wheats in her loose change, too...........:laughing7:

Keep the skids greased with treats and kindness and you will continue to receive the same in return..Brad
