Minelab X-Terra 70, Garrett - Ace 350, Bounty Hunter - Quick Silver
I have a friend that is offering me his dads old Teknetics. His father apparently got him into detecting and friend has a $1400 Minelab so he is a serious hunter I'm thinking his father is to. He isn't sure if it's a Teknetics Mark 1 or Mark 3. I can't find a model Mark 3 any where. The Mark 1 was built in 1985 very high tech at the time. Teknetics was bought out by Bounty Hunter. I Recently bought (and am still waiting on) the BH Quick silver looks to be made in 2003. Now the Q.S is a much newer model but new only cost me $120.00. I think I might be able to get the used Teknetics for around that to $200. Any suggestions on what one I should get? Or if anyone has even heard of a Mark 3 and could point me the direction as to where I can see some info on it?

i received the Quick Silver as a Christmas present last year... I can't in my right mind recommend that detector. If you're looking to spend around $200, go with the Garrett ACE 250 for $212. Read the reviews!
