Can someone tell me definitively if the Fisher F2/F4/F5 coils will work on the Teknetics Delta 4000/Gamma/etc series?

I want the little 4" Fisher 'hockey puck' coil for my Delta. I have the push-in type connector. The connectors look identical.

I can't find any information on operating frequency of these machines.

F2 and F4 coils are compatible.

F5 and Greek series Teknetics are compatible along with the Goldbug and GoldbugPro even though they are19khz.

Cool. So if I understand, the 4" hockey puck for the F2/F4 will NOT work on the Delta, but any F5 coil will?
Thanks for the help!

Correct. I have the F2, F5, Gamma, and GoldbugPro.

As woof! (Fisher engineer) said as I remember, it wont blow up, but it won't work very good.

If I've made a mistake, someone will correct me soon.

Finally found this chart from Fisher:

Fisher hobby detector accessories

As I said, the F5, GB coils will work on Greek series and G2 Teknetics.

Now finding newer coils with the older push in connector might be a challenge, but I didn't have any last year for my F5.

Not supposed to be completely compatible but i use one on my gamma 6000 and it i.ds the same and for a 4" coil it gets about 4" depth, works good in trash.Found several older copper pennie including 1 wheatie today in the trash,,the wheatie was over 4".

Great answer and this is correct!
