Yes i finally sent my t2 to el paso which brings up other questions...If any one has sent a detector in for repairs i gotta couple of questions...will they let u know what was wrong with it and do they let u know when the have shipped it back to you....Thanx barrywk

Shipped my t2se off today. Hope it has a safe journey to Texas. My buddy just got a call from Felix at first Texas about his f75 he sent in. They said it should be back to him Friday and they told him what they found wrong. Corroded wires to the coil connector.

Sent a G2 in a little over a year ago and service was awesome. They replaced the coil connector and something else they found questionable as well as a bad switch that was the known problem. Prompt return and great service .......... I was well pleased.

talked to teknetics tday and my t2 is on the way home....He said they had to retune the coil and coat circuit board with acrylic....does anyone know what either of those is and will the coil become untuned again....Thanks barrywk

Acrylic is to seal off things from moisture imho.

I have to be careful between hot and cold environments, the detector will sweat, not good for electronics in general.

Something changed in the coil, whether from something physical or electrical, don't know.

Pretty quick turnaround, I'm guessing it's better than new now.

i got my T2 back thurs...havent had a chance to try it yet (cause its white bass season for me lol) but they said it did have issues,they had to recalibrate the coil.I did get out tday for a few mins (before fishing) and threw some coins on the ground an checked it.Its definatly doing better...May try a little dirt fishing tomorrow (mon)

my T2 seems to b working good...went out for about an hour mon....didnt score anything good but i dug some deep holes and pulled out little targets....lol...but back to the white bass this evening,they will only be around for a couple more weeks.
