Got permission to hunt a turn of the century house.
I invited Skinny Puppy out to join me since he just got back into the hobby again.
We have hunted together on and off for the last 5 years and always had a blast.
Today was no exception.
We got to the house and found that our machines were going haywire.
It turned out that probably both of houses on either side of the property must have had electric dog fences
our machines went wild all around the property but as soon as you walked across the street the machines were normal.
This really sucked. A golden opportunity was a big let down.
But all was not bad. I managed to talk to my source and gained permission for another piece of property.
So off we headed.
We hunted the small back yard and we managed a total of 6 silvers and 20 wheats from the small yard.
Out in front we looked around for a bit when I heard Pat yell out BIG SILVER with his hand in the air making a big circle with his fingers.
Wow what a find....
Turned out to be a big SILVER DOLLAR...
What an exciting day...
Then we went door knocking
The first house was an 1888 house that looked like it had great potential ... Knocked on the door and was granted permission.
It turned out to be a bust. Very few coins. We think it was hit before years ago.
Here's the finds for the day.....
