Teacup and Saucer?

Can someone please help me identify the manufacturer, year of teacup made, and any history of the company?

This site explains the diamond and it's components: Pottery -* Registration numbers and diamond
it looks like a letter x (to me) on the right hand side, which seems to indicate 1868

It's from about 1865 to 1875
That's all I could get from the research that's on it,
The cup is hard to read.
