teaching the kids * ameerican rev war era pisttoil frizzen & CW era knapsack "J" hook
--I was being "nice" and teaching the son of a freind how to metal detect and "eyeball" hunt -- due to recent extremely heavy rains , I took him to check out 2 prime spots ( the kid is in 6th grade) and thus old enough to dig stuff for himself and is old enough to understand how old and important some relic finds can be -- at the first site he finds a american rev war era to early 1800 era - i100% totally ntact pistol frizzen * -- at the second spot he finds a union army "J" type knapsack hook -- being I was feeling a bit poorly -- I was just sitting in the car and "guiding him" to likely areas to check out -- both finds were "surface finds" to boot --just laying there for the first person who saw em and knew what they were and who picked em up , seems that my training of him is paying off for him at last.
a "british" florida rev war era item and civil war era item in the same day - found mere hours apart from one another.
