This was a bit of a slow month. We did not hit the pennies as hard as last month. We ended up with:
90% 1 Liberty, 4 Kennedy
40% 22
Rosie 1 dime found in tellers tray
Wheats 52, the oldest was a 1909 found in pocket change
King George = 3
$2 notes 3 red seal notes, one is a 1963 Star. Currently on sale on E-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190518792680&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
2 Sud African 1d, with a holes drilled in them found the same day a bank 60 miles apart.
1 Magician coin. $1.35 trick, brand new these sell for $50 check out this link: http://www.ronjo.com/magic/JM-0042.html
I still do not know how you guys keep your stats so accurately. Most of of our halves this month were found in customer rolls. I think we found 5 halves in the 4 boxes we searched.
We found the magician coin because it was rejected by the coin counter at the bank. Not all rejected halves are magician coins, some regular halves get rejected by accident. An easy way to tell if the half is a magician coin is when half is rejected check to see if the head and the tail do not line up. They often sound hollow. Chances are good when both halves are locked together they will be off. I separate them with a bang ring (you can see one in the closeup photos) that you can buy for a few bucks at a magic shop.

PS We will be heading to our cabin this month and we will get to visit the Happy Bank
