Howdy folks,
I live in Tampa, FL and I'm a member of the GPAA and WeekEnd Gold Miners in GA
I'd love to head out west and check out the GPAA properties and see the sights. I'd love to get together with a small group and make a trek. If anyone has a reliable RV and a dream, let me know and maybe we can work something out. If a few of us chip in for gas it won't be too bad. Just like the old days with a covered wagon. Yahoo! The only thing is - and I hope this isn't a deal breaker - I have to bring my cat along. She's a good girl and won't cause much trouble.
I'd also like to take a trip up to NC and GA to go to the pay to dig gem mines if anyone wants to form a group. I went to JXR for amethyst a few years ago and it was pretty fun but hot
I'm a dreamer and open to some other ideas if they aren't too costly
I used to have one of those little back page dredges but now I'm down to a shovel and sluice or high banker. I have some old foreign-made MT that doesn't have a name brand on it. Haven't really used it much
I spent a few days in the MT/Yellowstone area this June looking for the Forrest Fenn treasure. I didn't find it! But it was awesome seeing the area for the first time. I plan to return some day. I should have had a camera on me at all times. I like photographing stuff. At least I have the memories
Well, if anyone is digging what I'm talking about, let me know and maybe we can make the dream come alive.
