[Treasure Quest]

I am vacationing at the end of the month in the Port Richey area and was hoping someone could tell me what beaches don't allow metal detecting and what beaches do allow metal detecting.

You are in my area now and any park in Pasco county is a no NO..... but they do allow MD'ing in 4 parks BUT they have time restrictions on those and only certain areas within the park that you can hunt - mainly in the water. Green Key, Anclote, Hudson Beach (yuk) & Moon Lake. You'd do better to drive on down to CWB or sand key to hunt.

Thanks for the info Mumszie. Where would I find out about the times allowed for water detecting at the locations you mentioned.
