The thing with two different colored chains on it was woven, in a large arc, to the grass. Some buried in the dirt some not so. I haven't cleaned it yet, came out of the ground like this. The links do appear to test as silver though. (Why would anyone paint the links black!?!? And, the item on the chain, the thing that looks like a mustache, isn't even metal. Looks like someone borrowed some chains to wear this. But, I have no clue what it's supposed to be.

Still, one of the strangest hits I've had in a while. LOL

Some of the usual clad, (with an emphasis on nickels), a little medal, and something with 2 porpoises on it and what looks like a gold name plate. Might be plated but it came out of the ground shiny.

Thanks for peeking.

HH!

Verified, silver chains. Gold name plate.

Nice! :)

the two finger salute pin is a Girl Scout Brownie pin. I could be wrong, but I believe these were issued from the 50's to the mid 70's. I've found one myself.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was a scout salute or maybe a blessing hand sort of thing. Sounds like the right time frame too.

I was thinking on the strange find that it might be from the 60s to 70s. Kinda the groovy era.
