Digging up history is most rewarding. Here are a couple of tokens I uncovered in my own back yard that most probably pre-date
me and I'm over 70 years old. How the New York City token happened to end up in my New Hampshire back yard I will never know. But I can imagine. And that is another fun part of metal detecting. These were found about 3 feet from each other and 5 inches down.
Earlier this month (again in my own back yard) I dug up this toy soldier that you were able to help identify.
