So I've decided to take the lrp and metal detecting in general to the next level. I stopped at Best Buy today and picked up a Bluetooth transmitter that cost me $25 and I already have a set of bluetooth headphones and I'm cutting the cord. I will give you a full review of my device and what I find today while I'm out detecting.
Sure that sounds good

Let us kow if there is a lag in the audio. Good Luck with your wireless. I got a wireless set up for Christmas. I love not being tethered to the detector.

Looking forward to the review. I have been using the same bluetooth setup for over a year and haven't had any issues.

Going to wireless headphones is very liberating. The setup I purchased from best buy, crapped out on me on the second outing. The Bluetooth transmitter simply won't charge.

Regarding lag. There is a certain learning curve or adjustment that needs to be made when going wireless.

I'm going to try another transmitter from eBay.

I have a dust cover on my LRP, so I simply tuck the transmitter into the cover, but Velcro can be used.

We have a local Dollars General store that sells some inexpensive Bluetooth headphones for about $10.

So for anyone looking to cut the headphone cord, I would highly recommend and there are enough options out there that you can spend as little as $25 or $xxxs of dollars on a transmitter and headphones.
