Took the old PI Pro Pulse Diver down to Flagler beach today and was hunting at the beach break at low tide, not really in the water, but probably where it gets to be about a foot deep when a wave comes in. Found this cool Citizen Eco-Drive watch. Had the correct time and date. Probably lost pretty recently, if not today. No markings or names to help hunt the owner though. It was about 4 or 5 inches deep.

Good research Mike,

I saw a guy on ripoffBAY had one and he said "rare". Reminds me of an old episode of The Bob Newhart show. I think he was talking about CZ jewelery.

"Almost as rare as glass!"

Can't beat them Citizen Eco-Drive- Got one on my arm right now. Don't need winding. Great find.

Way to go Jack! Great find. I go to Flagler Beach all the time and just hit some clad. I will have to go into the water. My neighbor gave me his old Whites Surfmaster II and I have been dying to try it out. I am definately off to Daytona Beach.

Again, great find!

Thanks Daydream, clad and beer bottle caps are usually the order of the day at Flagler for me too. (Don't forget tent stakes) Unfortunately low tide this weekend is at noon. That is a terrible time to be detecting at the beach, it's hot and packed with people. Maybe the weekend after?

I don't hunt Daytona Beach any more, since the beach sand is so compact. If you drop a quarter on the sand, someone walking by can just pick it up. New Smyrna has softer sand, but the beaches are standing room only during the weekends. That's the only time I can get there.

I called Citizen today using the serial number off the back of the watch. They said that they do not send Warranty cards with the watches any more because nobody ever fills them out.

He searched the service database to see if it had ever been sent in for repairs, but no go.

Darn, guess I'll have to keep it.

Hey Jack!
Nice time getter! I keep watching for watches but am yet to find one a working or in full!
I never wear the ones I have anyway; hate them. :)
