I bought my T2 roughly 5 years ago. Never had a problem with it. Nor did I give any thought to the software version. Recently I've been reading a lot of online opinions about version 6.5. Some claim better depth, others say the changes are minimal, some say it just changes the start up mode, some say the update has something to do with the LCD screen. They say the T2 was released with software version 5, however, when I checked mine it says I have version 0.4. I have no idea what that means. I called the manufacturer and was told, "yeah that's an older one." Well obviously I know that, I bought it 5 years ago. He also told me that 6.5 only has to do with the LCD. So basically I have no idea what my version 0.4 is, nor do I know if it's worth being without a detector for a bit in order to get 6.5. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
